CHANGING PERCEPTIONS: The Evolving Role of Museums with Michael Edson

Bringing together leaders in the fields of popular culture, museums, and philanthropy, the Aga Khan Museum presented ‘Changing Perceptions,’ a series examining the power of art and culture to shift perceptions, explore the changing identity and role of museums in a rapidly transforming world, and lay the foundation for a more pluralistic global society.

This lecture features Michael Peter Edson of the newly emerging Museum of the United Nations sharing his experience ON the social mission of museums in the international global space, and what happens when institutions commit to breaking down stereotypes and building bridges.
