Virtual Art Camp: Creations from the Couch
Physical distancing can’t stop the flow of creativity! We’ve been working hard behind the scenes and are excited to announce our new virtual summer camp--Creations from the Couch!
The Visual Arts Centre of Clarington is offering virtual camps from July 13 all the way through summer until September 4. Our camps will provide kids and parents a virtual and worry-free option to stay home and explore new activities all summer long for just $75 per week (art kit included!)! Art kits containing selected materials for that week’s projects.
Campers will explore a variety of mediums and techniques from printmaking to pottery, we’ll try it all. Each week concludes with a Zoom Party where our campers can share their masterpieces!
Art Attack |13 July to 17 July | Ages 7 to 13 | $75
Challenge yourself to explore as many mediums as possible--drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and clay. From traditional materials to ones you've never tried before--we'll do it all!
Art Alive! | 20 July to 24 July | Ages 7 to 13 | $75
Art leaps off the page this week! Create your own 3D art using a variety of techniques, such as coil, slab and pinch pot to make masterpieces out of clay, plaster cloth and so much more!
Art Explorers | 27 July to 31 July | Ages 7 to 13 | $75
Create your way from the prehistoric age to modern-day! Explore a variety of techniques including paint, pastels, papercraft, mixed media, and sculpture during your trip through time.
Clay Creatures | 4 August to 7 August | Ages 7 to 13 | $65

Mixed Media Magic | 24 August to 28 August | Ages 4 to 6 and Ages 7 to 13 | $75
