Archiving Eden: A Discussion (May 31, 2 PM EST)

TD Community Sunday returns May 31 at 2pm. Join us for a special live conversation with artist Dornith Doherty.

Doherty will discuss her long-term photographic work Archiving Eden, an extensive project that documents the complex issues surrounding the role of science and human agency in preserving biodiversity. She will be joined by MOCA’s Learning Coordinator, Alexandra Brickman, as well as Sayeh Dastgheib-Beheshti and Ivana Obradovic, the facilitators of Archiving Eden: Exchange. Housed within a vault-like structure on the ground floor of MOCA, this work presents x-ray images of 5,000 seeds — the smallest number required to preserve a single plant species.

TD Community Sundays are made possible by TD Bank Group through its corporate citizenship platform, The Ready Commitment.
